But we’ve met before. It was long time ago I was a kid. St Swithins. Used to be funded by the Wayne foundation. An orphanage. My mom died when I was small in a car accident. I don’t remember it. But my dad got shot a couple years later over a gambling debt. And I remember that one just fine. Not a lot of people know what it feels like do they? To be angry in your bones. They understand. The foster parents. Everybody understands for a while. Then they want the angry little kid to do something he knows he cant do. Move on. So after a while they stop understanding. They send the angry kid to a boys home. I figured it out too late. You gotta learn to hide the anger. Practice smiling in a mirror. It’s like putting on a mask. So you showed up this one day in a cool car with a pretty girl on your arm…we were so excited. Bruce Wayne? Billionaire orphan? We used to make up stories about you man. Legends. And you know to the other kids that all it was…just stories. Right when I saw you I knew who you really were. I’d seen that look on your face before. It’s the same one I taught myself. I don’t know why you took the fall for dents murder but I’m still a believe in the Batman even if you’re not.

I just saw The Dark Knight Rises and I am in shock.
Holy shit. The ending was incredible. The series has literally a perfect ending. The movie was not perfect overall but wow. Joseph Gordon Levitt is fantastic.
